Global Game Jam 2024: Who's That Guy
.png)
For Global Game Jam 2024, the main theme was "Make Me Laugh," meaning my team members and I needed to make a game that related to that theme.
Who's That Guy? (2024) is a multiplayer game show where you and up to 4 friends must act like a randomized character. The goal is to guess who your friends are based on a variety of random questions. Whoever has the most points at the end wins!

I served as a UI Artist, Graphic Designer, and Writer for the game. I created most of the game's user interface and graphics, and helped develop the game characters.
Game Studio Project: Hexacution

For one of my Game Studio classes, I served as the Lead Writer, Level Designer, and UI Artist for the game, Hexacution. Hexacution is a rouge-like game in which the player must fight a wave of robotic enemies in a galactic sports stadium.

Me and my writing peers created documents and slides that helped contextualize the game and guide the team on their creations. The writers also created a total of +50 levels, each with multiple enemy spawners.

As for my UI Artist role, I created the UI for the vending machine (an in-game upgrade system), and a "Game Over Screen."
Game Studio Project: StarLite Racing
For one of my Game Studio classes, I served as a writer for the game project, Starlite Racing. The game focuses on racing that takes place in a semi-futuristic Japan.
As a writer, I created a total of 8 racing teams, each with 3 racers, which equates to 24 characters. Each team hails from different countries and each racer has with their unique backstories, characteristics, and dialogue lines.
Global Game Jam 2023: ROot Seed Rising.

For Global Game Jam 2023, the main theme was "root," meaning me and my four other team members needed to make a game that relates to that theme.

Not only did I help develop the general idea of the story, but I served as the sole artist of the project. I did every single art asset: the game logo, in-game models, cutscene pictures, and the game website.
RPG Maker VX Ace Lite Game: Cybersawa.
The RPG Maker VX Ace Lite Game is based on someone else's original IP, Cybersawa.

More specifically, the game is based on a single level called "Trial and Error." I utilized RPG Maker's existing functions and tilesets, and did all the narrative elements and character portraits.

The total playtime is about 30+ minutes.

Twine Game: Youthful Sinner.

The Youthful Sinner Twine game follows a young plantation worker attempting to get the best out of life. He must either listen to his inner demon, or maintain his kindness in order to achieve his goals.

I made this game myself, from the logo to the narrative elements.

The Twine game has a total of 1 Good Ending, 1 Neutral Ending, and 2 Bad Endings.
Game Design Project: Foraging

For one of my Game Design classes, I served as a Writer and Level Designer for the game, Foraging. The game is a platformer in which the player character is a cat.

I created the game logo, helped with the Game Design Document, digitally made paper maps, and made the final level of the game.
